Hello friends this is my 3rd blog post on the recipe Aloo Paneer Curry which is very tasty and it is one of my favourite dish i would say because it is a curry mixed with potatoes and paneer.
I have seen many people crazy for potatoes, not everyone likes it but yes there are some who likes potatoes very much, and I like potatoes too. Well not only potatoes I also like paneer a lot..
My mom prepares a dish using paneer with different vegetables along with it and that is my favourite, I love to have that dish because that has sweet and spicy flavours'.
Before my mom use to prepare this dish but now even i can prepare but in a different way. and here is the recipe of my dish sharing with you all. I hope you'"ll will try this recipe out.. Waiting for your feedback and comments.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup potatoes cubed
- 1 cup paneer cubed.
- 3/4th cup chopped onions.
- 1 medium sized ripe tomato or 1/2 cup chopped.
- 1 green chilli (optional)
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1/2 to 3/4th tsp coriander powder or garam masala
- 1/4th tbsp turmeric.
- 2 tbsp oil.
- 1/2 tsp zeera.
- Ginger garlic paste (optional)
- Pinch hing
- Salt as needed.
- Coriander leaves for garnish.
Directions
1st peel the potatoes and chop to cubes, and let it boil till it gets soft..
Take paneer and chop to cubes.
Heat oil in a pan, add amin and fry until the seeds began to crackle.
Add hing.
Add onions and fry until golden.
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell goes away.
Add finely chopped tomatoes, sprinkle salt and turmeric, sauté until the tomatoes turn mushy.
if needed cover and cook for a while.
Add coriander powder, garam masala and red chilli powder.
Mix and fry everything until the raw smell goes away & oil begins to separate.
Add cubed potatoes and paneer, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add water just enough to make gravy.
Cover and cook until done fully..
Add coriander leaves finely chopped while serving.
